Trivia Results
March 18th 2010 Sven and Ole's Thursday Night Trivia results:
It was The Italian Stallions (first time contenders) with a wire to wire, by a nose, victory with 89 pts. for the $75 bucks and 1st place. Coming in 2nd were Where's Everybody? on a strong, but no cigar, 88 pts. for the $50 spot.
Rounding out the 3rd and 4th places were the always respectable Team Hector with 85 pts and $25 in beer money, and Mostly Finished Moose (still puzzled by the name) with 84 pts.
It was a tight bunching of scores as the top six teams had between 89 and 79 points total. Kinda cool.
Stats: 18 teams played. A record for the 2010 season so far.
The (2) stumper question(s) of the night: Name the worlds oldest city. and Who was Wilbur Mills famous for knowing.... too well? Happy search'n.
Trivia freebie question of the week: What NFL Hall of Fame quarterback has the all-time record for the most career fumbles with 161? This baby is worth 7 pts. Happy search'n.
Huh of the night: Team It's the Pizza, Not the Path beat out team It's the Path, Not the Pizza by a score of 76 to 51 points. Go figure.
Hope to see you 7pm tonight @ Sven and Ole's. Get your team on.
