Happy 52nd B-Day to my much older bro Sidney Carl Jr.
Trivia results for Thursday February 4th 2010 are as follows:
The all-powerful Desperate Few pretty much dominated the rest of the pack from Q1 thru Q20 (while weathering the storm created by answer currier Patty Wagon's gaff on question #19) with a grand total of 88 pts. for 1st place. Second place went to come from behind artists, It's the Path, Not the Pizza with 84 pts. Rumour has it they had a middle-aged ringer to round out their youthful brain powered base. Smart thinking if I say so myself.
The wheel came off for team Itchy Petes in the last three questions of the night as they were basically shoe-ins for 1st or 2nd place at question seventeen. Even though, they can hold their heads high with a not too shabby 82 pts. for third. Bringing up the rear with a steady as she goes 74 pts. was Cosmic Dawgs. This was a collaboration between teams Cosmos and Dawgs.
This weeks Trivia Night stats
Number of teams played: 16
Stumper question(s) of the night: What were Willy Lohman's boys names? and The character Jake Barnes comes from what Hemingway novel?
Biggest come from behind of the night: At question #8, team, It's the Path Not the Pizza were in a distant 7th place, but nailed the last four questions of the night to rocket into 2nd place. Nice work.

+++ FAQ for Sven and Ole's Trivia Night Point Cup Standings +++
How are points tallied? The point totals for teams that place in the top 4 each week are counted towards their teams 2010 totals.
What happens to our teams points if we place 5th (or worse) for a week? Can you say, Ouch? No points awarded for that week.
What happens if our team misses a week? Are you crazy, what good reason do you have for missing?
Who's the guy at the top of the page? No, that's not my brother Sid. That's Richard Turvo, winner (singlehandedly I might add) of Sven and Ole's Trivia Night Point Cup Points for 1987. We miss you Ricky.
