Take a little trip back in time.
Raise your hand if you're male, from northern Minnesota, and in the 1970's had a crush on this guys daughter. Ei ei ei o!! Note Pat Kattigan behind the wheel of the 72' Chevy Suburban.
Gunflint Trail with Ted n' Barb
Lori and I went up the Gunflint Trail yesterday to see Ted and Barb Young at the Poplar Creek Guest House for a little fellowship and Tom and Jerrys. Thought I'd share a few pix of their fabulous B n' B all tucked in n' cozy under the new fallen snow. While there, Ted took me for a spin in the woods on the beel to one of their yurts to stoke the stove for incoming guests. If you like to cross country ski, snow shoe or just get away from it all, then the Poplar Creek Guest House is the ticket. www.boundarycountry.com/ See pix below.
More food etc.
My big sister Dii had a little get together last night for light hors d' oeuvres and beverage. It's official, there is no such word as light in the Minnesota lexicon, and I'm stepping away from the feed bag till 2010 as the Prilosec OTC just can't keep pace.
